Dark Avengers

Terrence showed me this picture. Suddenly the Dark Avengers overtakes the Symbiotes on my List of Favourite Marvel Characters.

The Dark Avengers were created by Norman Osborn, based on the original Avengers. Many of the Dark Avengers are actually supervillains disguised as existing superheroes - Moonstone impersonates Ms. Marvel, Venom (Mac Gargan, not Eddie Brock) impersonates Spiderman, and Daken (who's Wolverine's son) impersonates Wolverine. Oh, and Bullseye as Hawkeye.

Norman Osborn himself is head of the Dark Avengers, using the alias Iron Patriot, who resembles the Ironman armour with Captain America's colour scheme. Awesome sauce.
